Montana

Our goal this week was to drink only Montana beer. And we were successful, with only this one slip-up: Snake River Brewing's Pale Ale. It's brewed in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We did make it to Wyoming to see Yellowstone, so this is OK as a "local" beer for this trip. Sharp and crisp, with an almost noble hop flavor. Relatively light with a tight foamy head.

Montana

Some Montana brews tried during our Big Sky spring break ski trip: this is the Madison River Brewing Co.'s Irresistible Amber. Nice, thick yet not syrupy brownish ale. Named for a fishing fly, Madison River plays off their locale. And the water up here is definitely special.
